SEO Matters, but Content Is King

Arguably the best indicator of a project’s quality is how easily it can be found via search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo!, DuckDuckGo, Baidu, or whichever platform you prefer. After clearing your browsing history or using a private window, try searching for the relevant website yourself.

Of course, content matters too. As Bill Gates famously wrote in his 1996 essay, “Content is King.” That statement still rings true today — high-quality content remains at the heart of online success.

On this website, you'll find numerous tips and tools to help you improve your website’s SEO on your own.

Introduction to Recent Projects

Allow me to present some of the projects I’m currently working on, have worked on in the past, or am planning to work on in the future. While any changes to the content must be discussed with the client, I usually have more freedom when it comes to the behind-the-scenes work — namely, SEO.

Whenever I take over a project, I begin by studying it from all relevant angles to ensure I can deliver high-quality work on the marketing side. After all, SEO is marketing too — in fact, it’s often where it all begins.

Final Thoughts

Each project is different — and so is the path to results. In some cases, the first step is a full review and overhaul of the website’s content and SEO fundamentals before any other marketing efforts can begin. Without a solid technical and content foundation, visibility simply doesn’t happen.

Other projects may already have strong SEO in place, but struggle to gain traction due to factors such as a new domain with low authority or limited backlinks. Some websites rank well in search results but don’t attract visits — or attract visitors who don’t convert. In those situations, other areas of online marketing need to be activated, whether that means social media, paid campaigns, conversion optimisation, or strategic content updates.

The common thread across all of these cases is simple: visibility doesn’t come from chance. It’s the outcome of thoughtful planning, ongoing adjustments, and a clear understanding of both the technical and human sides of online behaviour.
